This project aims to improve the quality of acute internal medicine, by investigating the patient’s value on the quality of acute internal medicine using the Patient Reported Measure-acute care. This enables acute internists to improve the perceived quality of care. As cultural differences may influence the perceived quality of care, we will analyse the cross-cultural validity of the PRM-acute care in this project. Secondly, we will measure the effect of implementing the PRM-acute care on the perceived quality by patients. Finally, we will evaluate the experiences of physicians using the PRM-acute care.
